The Fridley School Board adopted three policies on a single reading at its Sept. 17 meeting: Policy 515 (Protection and Privacy of Student Records), Policy 522 (Title IX Sex Nondiscrimination) and Policy 620 (Credit for Learning). The motion was moved by Sara Jones and seconded by Nikki Auna; the roll-call vote was unanimous (4-0).
The policies cover student records privacy protections, nondiscrimination under Title IX, and standards for awarding credit for learning. The minutes record the board's formal adoption but include no further amendments or dissenting commentary.
