In order, the board unanimously:
- Approved the minutes from the previous meeting (motion by Greg Houk; second by Scott Catlett).
- Approved an on‑premise special-event permit for Appalachian Renaissance Faire of Tennessee at 722 E Dumplin Valley Road in Kodak for April 18–19, 2026 (motion by Dale Hill; second by Greg Houk). Catherine Lewis, speaking for the event, said vendors are certified and organizers will coordinate off‑duty deputies for security.
- Approved an on‑premise permit for Island Pointe GC, LLC (9610 Kodak Road). Owner Daniel Feehan said he bought the former River Island Golf Course property in 2010 and had a beer permit until 2019; he seeks to expand beverage‑cart sales onto the Sevier County side (motion by Greg Houk; second by Dale Hill).
Chris Young moved to adjourn and Dale Hill seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The meeting ended at 4:05 P.M.
All recorded motions passed unanimously by the members present; the board recorded six members present and one absent for the meeting.
