Superintendent Benson reported at the Nov. 17 meeting that district enrollment remained steady at 922 students and that several facilities projects are moving forward. Benson said secondary roof repairs are on track to be completed over winter break and that boiler repairs to meet code requirements have been finished; he also said staff are working with Johnson Controls to address fluctuating temperatures in both district buildings.
Benson told the board that Kraus Anderson will provide estimates for constructing a visitors locker room and bathrooms at the football field as potential uses for approximately $800,000 of remaining referendum dollars. The board did not vote on a specific facilities plan that evening and asked staff to bring cost estimates and options to the building and grounds committee for further review.
