School board approves consent agenda including donations, hires and retirement

The ISD 2071 School Board unanimously approved a consent agenda at its Nov. 17, 2025 meeting that accepted several donations, personnel actions and the district's monthly bills. Member Jones moved to approve the consent agenda and Member Hoeft seconded; the motion carried without opposition.
The consent items included a $619.25 donation to the volleyball program from Kassi Ziegler and $100 from Afton Gross for Karla Caldwell's classroom, the retirement resignation of high school German teacher Andre Harnitz effective at the end of the 2025–26 school year after 31 years of service, and hires including Lauren Bloss as a secondary paraprofessional (beginning Oct. 27, 2025), Libby Kramin as a licensed school nurse (beginning Dec. 5, 2025), and Connor Andree as the 8th grade boys basketball coach for the 2025–26 season. The board also approved minutes from the Oct. 20, 2025 meeting and authorized payment of bills totaling $200,439.50 and wire transfers of $211,106.01.
