Staff: updated housing regulations, POCD effective date and middle-housing text amendments underway

During the staff report Director J. Kaufman said staff and consultants are working on an updated affordable housing regulation and that the town's Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD) has been approved; the PZC will be setting an effective date. J. Kaufman also said text amendments are before the PZC to align the zoning regulations with PA 25-1 concerning middle housing.
No committee votes on the regulatory items were recorded on June 4. Staff characterized these as ongoing regulatory actions and signaled that the PZC will take the separate steps required to set effective dates and adopt zoning text amendments.
