Resident Ken Sherman (23840 Jerome) told council he filed complaints after Priority Waste failed to pick up his recycling bin last Wednesday, said he had submitted reports through both the city's Citizens Action Center and Priority Waste's portal and said he had spoken with city staff and the company but the bin was still not collected.
During his remarks Sherman said he read a statement from the contractor's CEO in the mayor's message and characterized it as "a bunch of BS," urging the mayor to publish a supplemental message listing a city event (Bark in the Park on Aug. 16) and to address the contract performance issue. The council did not provide an immediate, detailed response on record in that segment.
