RVAMAC elects new officers; Kay Richards to join county planning commission

Members of the Round Valley Area Municipal Advisory Council elected officers at their March 5, 2025, meeting. Kay Richards nominated Kathy Britton for chair, Marylou Mileck for vice chair and Dane Downing for treasurer; Dane Downing nominated Kay Richards for secretary. All nominations were approved without objections.
Kay Richards told the council this was her final RVAMAC meeting because she will take the 3rd District seat on the county Planning Commission later in the month. Laura Betts said she will ask the Round Valley Indian Tribes (RVIT) Tribal Council to fill the council's two tribal seats. The council agreed to proceed with updated membership outreach at the next meeting.
