The MSD of New Durham Township school board approved multiple personnel actions at its Sept. 11 meeting. The minutes list resignations from athletics staff — Drew Berry, Bryce Barton and Kurt Coulter — and record approvals for several recommended hires: substitute teachers Sarah Mikolajczyk and Jessie Hogan; long-term elementary substitute Ashly Leouses; Jaron Skalka as boys' junior varsity basketball coach; Beth Ann Albright as middle school science teacher; and others. Board member Karen Jedrysek made the motion to approve the personnel slate and Lynn Wilson seconded; the minutes state the motion carried.
The personnel block also recorded approval for an FMLA leave request for Emily Wagner. These actions were taken as a single motion to approve the presented resignations, recommendations, and leave. The personnel changes affect instructional staffing, athletics coaching, and instructional assistant roles across the district.
