Council approves series of small appropriations including $25,000 site purchase from LIT-ED fund

Auditor Sandra L. Morton presented several additional appropriation requests across county funds and the Council approved them all by motion and unanimous vote. Approved items included $350 from the Park Restricted Donation Fund for Eagle Scout park maintenance, $4,112 from the Emergency Management Donation Fund for equipment, and $4,000 from the Federal Equitable Sharing Fund for equipment.
A $29,500 appropriation from the LIT-ED Fund was approved, consisting of $25,000 to purchase the Holland Dumpster site, $1,000 for title and closing costs, and $3,500 for Weights and Measures equipment. The Recorder Enhanced Access Fund received $12,600 for maintenance fees and the Solid Waste (Sticker) Fund received $15,000 for dumpsters. Council members moved and seconded each appropriation and each motion carried unanimously.
