Council reviews 2027 wage study; schedules executive session on personnel matters

Meredith Voegerl provided the Council an update on the 2027 wage study conducted by the consultant Waggoner, Irwin, Scheele & Associates. She said the consultant evaluated job duties, responsibilities and federal wage-and-hour classifications; some positions were found to be below market benchmarks and may warrant adjustment while others are aligned or above benchmarks.
President Kluesner announced an executive session to be held Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Commissioner/Council meeting room to discuss job performance evaluation, employee-specific compensation, or employment matters of individual employees in accordance with IC 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(9). The wage study will be used as one factor among others when making personnel and compensation decisions.
