Board adopts Title I family engagement policy, updates calendar and approves MSHSL membership

The Floodwood School Board approved the Title I School, Parent/Guardian, and Family Engagement Policy for the 2026–2027 school year in a motion by Trustee Tracy Hutchinson, seconded by Pete Kramer; the motion carried by unanimous voice vote. The board also reviewed the 2026 Local Literacy Plan and approved the district's 2026–2027 MSHSL membership resolution.
In addition, the board approved an updated 2026–2027 K–12 and preschool calendar with an administrative note to adjust a bus garage contact email/phone number. The board began the first of three readings for proposed changes to multiple policies; the first reading does not represent final adoption.
