Carbon Cliff officials to attend regional conferences; schedules set for committees

The board recorded a series of upcoming conferences and who will attend: the 11th Annual Quad Cities Stormwater Conference at Bally's Quad Cities Casino & Hotel on Feb. 20, 2025 (Director Nick Gottwalt will attend); the 2025 IAFSM Annual Conference at the Tinley Park Convention Center on March 11-12, 2025 (Director Gottwalt will attend); the Illinois Municipal Treasurers Association Annual Conference at the Hilton/Oak Brook Hills Resort on July 20-23, 2025 (Director Gottwalt will attend); and the Illinois Municipal League's 112th Annual Conference at the Hyatt Regency Chicago on Sept. 18-20, 2025 (Village President Bill Hintz, Trustee LeeVon Harris, and Director Gottwalt will attend).
The board also set committee meeting schedules: Public Properties & Works Committee will meet Monday, March 10, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. at Village Hall, and Public Safety & Administration Committee will meet Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at Village Hall. These scheduling items were placed on the agenda and approved as part of the consent agenda.
