Senators expect NCIS report on Ford fire; say fixes will likely be limited

"I do think there's gonna be a report, I think, issued soon on the fire that NCIS has done," Kaine said, and both senators cautioned that while lessons will be learned, they did not expect a radical redesign. Kaine highlighted a seemingly small design choice — paired ladders — that helped evacuation and said some fixes may be straightforward.
