The Litchfield School Board approved two new extracurricular positions at its Aug. 26 meeting: an Assistant FFA Advisor and a JV/B Squad volleyball coach for the 2024 season.
Member Julie Pennertz moved and Member Darrin Anderson seconded adding an Assistant FFA Advisor at a Level 5 salary of $1,728 per the master agreement; the motion carried 5-0. Separately, Member Darrin Anderson moved and Member Michelle Falling seconded adding a JV/B Squad volleyball coach for the 2024 season at a Level 2 salary of $5,328 (to be prorated); that motion carried 4-1. The agenda notes the need for the JV/B position will be reviewed for the next school year.
Role Cole and Justin Brown were present during the FFA discussion to answer board questions; Darin Swenson and Justin Brown answered questions on the volleyball proposal. Both actions were recorded as formal board approvals and entered into the meeting minutes.
