Board approves St. Louis Area Foodbank partnership and several handbooks

The board approved a partner agreement with the St. Louis Area Foodbank and adopted handbooks for the coming school year during its June 26 meeting.
Tangela Oliver moved and Dr. Renada Greer seconded approval of the partner agreement; the motion passed by roll call with unanimous support. The agreement outlines shared work to increase food security across a 26-county territory in Missouri and Illinois, and provides for regular deliveries to district resource centers.
Separately, the board approved the Parent-Student Handbook, Athletic Handbook for Students and Coaches Handbook for the 2025–26 school year. Those motions also carried unanimously. The approvals allow staff to finalize handbook distribution and the foodbank partnership implementation ahead of the 2025–26 school year.
