The Carbondale Elementary School District No. 95 board approved a slate of personnel actions June 26, including resignations, new hires for the 2025–26 school year, and a retroactive salary increase for exempt (non‑certified) staff.
The board accepted resignations from classified staff (including a library aide and several instructional aides) and approved employment for paraprofessionals, classified substitutes and a summer technology worker (Reese Conkle, retroactive to July 10, 2025) pending clear criminal background investigations. The board also approved certified hires such as Lindsay Nelson (ELA teacher at Carbondale Middle School) and Sean Dugan-Strout (2nd grade teacher at Thomas School), and multiple special assignments across buildings (coaching and sponsor roles). The board approved the employment of Jaclyn Robertson as Assistant Principal at Carbondale Middle School effective July 1, 2025.
Dr. Renada Greer moved and Tangela Oliver seconded approval of a 4.75% increase for listed non-certified/exempt staff retroactive to July 1, 2025; the motion passed unanimously. The increases apply to positions listed in the agenda (Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent, Director of Food Services, Director of Maintenance and Technology Coordinator).
