Pequot Lakes board approves $261,201.06 fire‑alarm replacement after facilities update

Director Pamela Johnson moved and Director Ross Nelson seconded a motion to accept PR#03 Fire Alarm Alterations alternate pricing to remove the old fire‑alarm system and replace it in its entirety with a new Potter Fire Alarm System for an additional $261,201.06. The motion carried by a 5‑0 vote. Board members present for the vote were Chair Kim Bolz‑Andolshek, Directors Pamela Johnson, Dena Moody, Ross Nelson and Amy Sjoblad.
The district did not provide a construction start date in the meeting record; board members said plan reviews and permit approvals were still pending. The facilities update did note continued design work on FF&E and planning for additional spaces as part of the larger project.
