Minnewaska board sets Truth and Taxation hearing and approves Teamsters MOU

The Minnewaska Area Schools Board scheduled its Truth and Taxation hearing for Monday, Dec. 16, 2024 at 6:30 p.m., a date the board approved by roll call during the Aug. 19 meeting. The Truth and Taxation hearing sets the public forum for property-tax discussion and the district’s levy-setting process.
The board also approved a memorandum of understanding with the Minnesota Teamsters Public and Law Enforcement Employees Union, Local No. 320. That MOU was approved by motion of Lagred, seconded by A. Reichmann, with a unanimous roll-call vote recorded in the minutes. The minutes do not include terms of the agreement; the action is recorded as an approved item on the consent/motions portion of the agenda.
