Council approves transit station repairs grant, camera replacements and several public-works contracts

The council authorized the mayor and city administrator to execute a Metropolitan Council transit financial assistance grant agreement for 2026 transit station repairs in an amount not to exceed $380,000. Council also approved two Pro-Tec Design proposals for security camera replacements at the two Maple Grove transit stations totaling not to exceed $31,610.
Separately, the council authorized an agreement with Sunram Construction, Inc. for a Parkway Station retaining wall project in an amount not to exceed $55,045 and authorized an agreement with Interstate Removal for busway pavement replacement at the Maple Grove Transit Station in an amount not to exceed $65,850. These contract approvals were part of the consent agenda and approved unanimously.
