The Maple Grove City Council approved a sweeping consent agenda on July 20 that included personnel actions, contract awards and payments. Actions included the appointment of Jordan Roske as a mechanic in Public Works, the promotion of Aaron Valerius to police sergeant, authorization to recruit for an administrative assistant I and for a new fire chief following resignations, and approval of claims totaling $10,210,105.64.
Council also authorized construction and maintenance contracts across several capital projects: final acceptance and payment for the 2026 Pond Maintenance Project No. 26-06 completed by Valdes Lawn Care & Snow Removal, LLC; award of the Bella Woods NE Project No. 26-12 and developer’s agreement; Elm Creek Valley Stream Restoration Phase I Project No. 26-09 awarded to Earthstone Companies, LLC; and several transit-station repairs and camera replacements. The consent motion passed on a 5-0 vote.
