Residents raise park tree and private-tree trimming concerns at council meeting

Another resident reported ongoing problems with a city tree at 325 Charlotte Street growing toward a house and asked whether it could be trimmed or removed. Council members said they had received the complaint and would follow up on trimming or removal.
"I had a resident on, 325 Charlotte Street reach out about a city tree growing into their house. Could we get that either trimmed back or, the tree cut down completely?" one council member said. City staff and council reported some trimming had been done recently in that area and said they would follow up as needed.
