In the student representative segment, Benett Prose introduced Emily Schlangen as an additional student representative and provided multiple updates: Pine Meadow received a grant to buy hammocks for an outdoor reading area; ORELC, RIS and Pine Meadow raised $52,000 through a PTO Walkathon; SHS raised over $1,000 for St. Cloud Cancer Center and organized Boo Baskets; ORELC PreK students focused on friendships and problem solving during October.
The minutes record numerous student activities across buildings — bus safety work at ORELC, a fall festival, a 5th-grade sock drive, and extra‑curricular student contributions such as SMS students providing Spanish lessons in Riverview classrooms.
