District moves to expand Magma Math pilot; board asks about costs, devices and multilingual support

The district said Magma Math will be paid from the education technology budget as a subscription; presenters declined to discuss any alleged test‑score increases because state results remain embargoed. Board members asked for demonstrations for all members, clarification on device requirements and a plan for parent education so families can support students using the platform.
