The Rockford Board of Education on June 15 adopted a resolution designating Superintendent Dr. Jeff Ridlehoover as the district's Identified Official with Authority (IOwA) for the Education Identity and Access Management (EDIAM) system used by Minnesota education agencies. The minutes state the IOwA role authorizes and reviews user access and must recertify access annually in accordance with the State of Minnesota Enterprise Identity and Access Management Standard.
Board Member Sjodin moved to adopt the resolution and Gordee seconded; the roll call vote listed Gordee, Johnson, Morgan, Hillstrom and Sjodin in favor with none opposed. The minutes note state agencies that require annual IOwA designation include the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB), and Office of Higher Education (OHE).
