Board appoints Marshall Hunt to Carbondale ESD 95 board through April 2027

The Carbondale Elementary School District No. 95 Board of Education voted on June 12, 2025 to appoint Marshall Hunt to a vacant board seat through April 2027. Dr. Renada Greer moved the appointment and Ms. Tangela Oliver seconded; the roll call vote was recorded as yes from Greer, Imani McHenry, Oliver, Major and President Corey Cawthon. Member Field was absent.
Elizabeth Kelly administered the Oath of Office to Marshall Hunt; the minutes state, “Oath of Office is Taken. Marshall Hunt will take his seat at the board table.” Hunt was seated immediately following the oath. The appointment was made under New Business item 7.1 during a special meeting held at the John Major Learning Center.
