District announces open house, choir concerts and Teacher Tribute dates

Superintendent Catherine Kawaguchi announced districtwide events: an Open House on April 17, spring choir concerts April 28–29 at Canyon High Performing Arts Center, the Teacher Tribute on April 24, and recognition of classified staff on April 30 ahead of Classified School Employee Week (May 19–23) and California Day of the Teacher (May 14).
Superintendent Catherine Kawaguchi used the April 16 meeting to announce a series of upcoming district events. The district-wide Open House is scheduled for April 17, 2025 for all nine schools. Spring Choir Concerts will be held April 28 and 29 at Canyon High School Performing Arts Center with participating schools listed in the minutes. The board will honor Teacher Tribute recipients on April 24 at the College of the Canyons; classified staff recognition is scheduled for the April 30 board meeting in advance of Classified School Employee Week (May 19–23). California Day of the Teacher (May 14) will be recognized at the April 30 meeting as well.
