Superintendent Catherine Kawaguchi and Assistant Superintendent Julie McBride presented results from the district's Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) survey at the April 16 meeting. The survey sought input from students, parents and staff to inform the district's goals and actions for the proposed 2025–26 LCAP; board members provided feedback to staff and the proposed plan will return to the board on June 11, 2025 for further action.
Kawaguchi emphasized broad stakeholder engagement in preparing the LCAP, noting the district's intent "to ensure that all educational partners have the opportunity to provide input on the goals and actions of the proposed LCAP for the 2025-2026 school year," according to the minutes. The presentation covered outreach and next steps; no vote was taken on the LCAP at this meeting.
