Assistant Superintendent Dr. Tasha Katsuda presented the Roadmap ’27 first-trimester report to the board on Dec. 11, describing how 'excellence targets' derive from the district Strategic Plan and were prioritized based on findings from an Equity Audit.
Dr. Katsuda outlined five district focus goal areas and described processes for goal setting, professional learning at district, school and practitioner levels, and progress monitoring through trimester data summits, monthly administrator meetings and weekly Professional Learning Communities. She said the Fall Update Excellence Targets Data Dashboard is available on the district website and will be updated as necessary to improve accessibility and understanding.
Board members engaged with the presentation, asking detailed questions about the results and how data will be used to inform practice and transparency efforts.
