The Yellow Medicine East ISD #2190 board approved a 2024–26 contract agreement with MSEA employees during its Sept. 9 meeting. The board then certified the maximum allowable levy for 2024 (payable in 2025), actions that trustees moved, seconded and carried as recorded.
Board member Matt Zempel moved the contract approval; the levy certification followed as a separate motion. The board also designated Dec. 9, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. in the YME Board Room as the Truth in Taxation hearing date to allow public review and comment on the levy certification.
