Committee considers SRF loan resolutions for Tallahasseeers water project

The Chair introduced two resolutions (24-42 and 24-43) to support a State Revolving Fund (SRF) loan application for the Tallahasseeers Water System Reconstruction Project and to authorize reimbursement of financed funds. A staff member explained that one resolution authorizes applying for SRF financing and the second authorizes reimbursement and that these mirror earlier SRF loan program documents used for other projects.
"One is authorizing us to apply for that financing, and the other is authorizing the reimbursement of the funds financed," the staff member said (SEG 170–172). The staff member added that these documents are straightforward and similar to prior approvals the district used for its water treatment plant SRF loan application; the committee acknowledged the need to include the resolutions as part of the loan application process.
