St. Anthony–New Brighton board adopts 2024–26 goals and new onboarding requirement

The St. Anthony–New Brighton School Board on Sept. 10 adopted its School Board Goals for 2024–26, directing creation of a board handbook and an online new-board onboarding course to be completed by the end of 2025. Laura Oksnevad moved to edit Goal #2 to add language requiring data analysis and measurement; the amendment carried 5-0.
Board Chair Ben Phillip framed the package as a governance roadmap. The board said Goal #1 will provide a consistent reference for members and that the onboarding course will be linked to the handbook. The motion to adopt the goals was carried unanimously after the edit.
