Chuck Jarrell, Director of Planning and Development, told the Board the moratorium had been discussed at a prior meeting and the County Attorney prepared the attached resolution for execution.
Commissioner Ben Riden moved to approve Resolution 2026‑RES‑005; Commissioner Nathan Park seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The moratorium is intended to give county staff time to draft regulatory language before new permit applications are accepted.
