Resident asks about CFO vacancy; district says interim is imminent and full search underway

Resident Jason Lanier of Lansdale used the audience of citizens period to ask about the CFO departure and whether notice provisions in the prior contract were followed. He said he discovered the vacancy on the district employment page and asked why there had not been a clearer public announcement. Lanier said, “Was that done? Are we do we have a new CFO?”
A staff member responded that the district had posted the CFO position for three weeks across typical platforms (PSBA, PASBO, PA REAP), that screening interviews had begun, and that administrators were close to announcing an interim CFO: “We are working on an agreement for an interim CFO... we will bring a candidate forward at the August action meeting or a September work session.” The staff member also said Miss Hauser requested a shorter than 120‑day departure and agreed to support the transition. The committee offered to have administration follow up with the commenter if needed.
