Board Chair Brett Stegall said the board met in executive session and voiced strong support for Drill’s leadership, stating the board ‘‘believe[s] that Cascade is a better place to be because of Mr. Drill.’’ The renewal followed the board’s annual evaluation process; no additional discussion occurred in the open meeting.
The action preserves leadership continuity as the district plans for the 2026–27 school year. The board’s agenda packet included the completed evaluation and the motion was recorded as a formal resolution approving the contract renewal.
