YME reschedules Policy Committee meeting and lists back-to-school events
Summary
The Policy Committee meeting originally set for Aug. 28 was rescheduled to Sept. 16 at 5:30 p.m.; the board also recorded a schedule of August and September back-to-school and staff development events, including the first day of school on Sept. 3, 2024.
District staff informed the board that the Policy Committee meeting scheduled for Aug. 28, 2024 will be rescheduled to Sept. 16, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. The change was necessary because of a conflict with the Back to School Open House.
The board’s calendar of upcoming events was also recorded: Paraprofessional Conference in Benson on Aug. 14; New Teacher Workshop Aug. 20–21; Buildings & Grounds Committee Meeting Aug. 21; 6th Grade Boot Camp Aug. 21; Back to School staff development Aug. 27–29; Back to School Open House Aug. 28; First Day of School Sept. 3; and the Facilities Meeting Sept. 4.
