Board signs off on contractor pay apps, change orders and approves Candy Cane Lane event

The Alexandria Township Board of Education approved multiple contractor payment applications and two change orders at the Nov. 13 meeting. Approved pay applications included De Sapio Construction Pay App #9 for $67,352.60 and Pay App #10 for $94,663.72; Mastercraft Iron Pay App #6 for $20,067.24; Preferred Plumbing Pay App #23 for $15,136.84; and Sunnyfield Corp. Pay App #3 for $93,785.43.
The Board also approved change orders: Santorini Construction Change Order GC-18 (deduct $1,900.00) and Preferred Mechanical Change Order M-6 (add $19,701.00). The School Business Administrator is authorized to process these payments in line with contract terms.
Separately, the Board approved an ATS/PTO/BOE-sponsored community event, 'Candy Cane Lane,' a drive-through lighting event to take place in December at the ATS parking lot. The event was authorized as a joint PTO/BOE activity with no budget details recorded in the minutes.
