The Alexandria Township Board of Education unanimously approved its consent agenda at the Nov. 13 meeting, voting 8–0 with one absence to pass a package of finance, personnel, and administrative items. The motion to approve the Consent Agenda was made by Michael Small and seconded by Renee Bagley.
Among the finance items, the Board recorded receipt of $166,960 in FY24 Extraordinary Aid and authorized transfers of those funds: $66,960 to tuition for other local education agencies (account 11-000-100-562-000-000) and $100,000 to private tuition (account 11-000-100-566-000-100). The resolution delegates authority to the School Business Administrator to execute the transfers under N.J.S.C. 6A:23A-13.3.
The board also accepted monthly financial reports and the School Business Administrator’s certification that no major account had been overexpended as of Sept. 30, 2024, in compliance with N.J.A.C. 6:20-2.13(3). The vote on the consent items was recorded as YES—8, NO—0, ABSENT—1.
The action was part of the board’s routine consent process and carries no additional programmatic commitments beyond the described transfers. The board set its annual Reorganization Meeting for Jan. 2, 2025 at 7:00 PM in the Media Center.
