Board approves assignment agreement and authorizes notice on property option, mayor records lone Nay on notice

Commissioner Reba Murphy moved and Vice-Mayor Jody Bauer seconded; votes on the resolution were recorded Murphy-Aye, Bauer-Aye and Mayor Leon Locke-Aye.
Separately, a motion to authorize Mayor Locke to sign the Notice of Exercise of Option to Purchase Real Property passed with recorded votes Murphy-Aye, Bauer-Aye and Mayor Locke-Nay; the motion nonetheless carried by majority vote. Following that, the Assignment Agreement to Purchase Real Property itself was approved on a subsequent motion with unanimous recorded ayes among those present. The minutes do not include the property address, purchase price or other contract terms; those are recorded as not specified in the meeting record.
