At the July 20 meeting the Board of Texas County Commissioners voted unanimously to approve a detailed set of claims and purchase orders for payment across General, District, Public Health and Jail Sales Tax funds. The motion, made by Commissioner Levi Bickford and seconded by Commissioner Dolan Sledge, listed payments including $15,264.36 to OSU Cooperative Extension and a variety of vendor and stipend payments.
The board also approved blanket purchase orders for routine vendors such as Wirtz Lumber & Supply and Mayfield Paper Co. during the same session. Commissioners recorded their votes verbally in the minutes (Aye: Sledge, Bickford, Edwards), and the clerk entered the approved purchase order numbers into the record.
