Council adopted Ordinance 2026-078 on third reading to authorize the mayor, service safety director, or city engineer to apply for and execute grant agreements through the Ohio Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration for resurfacing Blanchard Street from Tiffin Avenue to Melrose Avenue (PID 122999). The motion to adopt was made by Dan and seconded by Rodney, and a roll-call vote recorded multiple ayes; the ordinance was declared adopted as an emergency measure.
The item included brief discussion but no changes to project scope during the Aug. 4 meeting. Council members recorded their votes during roll call and the mayor announced the ordinance was adopted.
