Board approves updated community-program fees; superintendent says swimming lessons return

"So when you take programs to other buildings that don't have the same level of support, we have to add some shifts, so we had to make some fee adjustments," the superintendent said. She added that swimming lessons, which were interrupted by pool renovations last year, are returning this fall and will expand throughout the year.
A motion to approve the program and fees was made and seconded; the board voted in favor and the motion carried. The board did not change program scope during the meeting; the fee adjustments were described as nominal and intended to cover added custodial support during high-school construction.
