WEM board signs multi-year contracts for principals, business manager and operations staff

The board approved contracts for district leaders, including multi-year agreements for the high school principal, business manager, transportation supervisor, food service director, building and grounds supervisor, and the superintendent's administrative assistant.
During its June 22 meeting the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Board approved multiple employment contracts for key administrative and operations staff.
Approved contracts included: July 1, 2025'June 30, 2026 for Principal Myles Knutson; July 1, 2025'June 30, 2027 for Principal Brandon Tagg; multi-year contracts through June 30, 2027 for Business Manager Margaret Jewison, Transportation Supervisor and Heavy Duty Mechanic Tauston Lamont, Food Service Director Anna Meschke, Building and Grounds Supervisor River Henry, and the Superintendent's Administrative Assistant Cath Hermel.
Board members approved the contract package in a roll call vote. The board also adopted a resolution designating Superintendent Mark Winter as the district's Designated Identified Official with Authority (DIOwA) for Education Identity and Access Management (IOwA).
