WEM Board adopts policies, approves multiple contracts and a combined-polling-places resolution

At its May 18 meeting the WEM Board approved several policy updates and staff contracts. The board voted to adopt policies 413 (Harassment and Violence), 416 (Drug, Alcohol, and Cannabis Testing), 513 (Student Promotion, Retention, and Program Design) and 523 (Policies Incorporated by Reference).
The board also approved a resolution establishing combined polling places (roll-call vote recorded in the minutes), multiple two-year contracts running July 1, 2025–June 30, 2027 for positions including the School Age Care Coordinator, Laundry Worker, Nurse, Food Service and multi-year School Psychologist contracts, and a 2026–2027 membership in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL). The meeting adjourned at 7:18 p.m.
