WEM plans consolidation to Waterville building; staff move scheduled for May 28

Superintendent Mark Winter told the board that construction on the Waterville building has begun and staff will move from the Morristown building to Waterville starting Thursday, May 28. Administrators framed the consolidation to a single site as a decision intended to benefit students and said staff are preparing for moving and packing in late May.
Administrators also highlighted spring and summer events: Farewell to Morristown on May 19 (5:00–7:00 p.m.), Night of Excellence on May 20, and upcoming graduation. Community Education reported Summer School Age Care runs June 8–Aug 28 (6:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.) with 54 registered; driver education classroom sessions begin June 1 with 22 enrolled and 23 students scheduled for behind-the-wheel sessions through August. Preschool registration numbers were provided for 2026-2027.
