The Walker-Hackensack-Akeley School Board approved the purchase of a new 10-passenger van, with a not-to-exceed price of $72,000 less trade-in, by unanimous vote on July 13, 2026. The motion was made by Shannon Pfeiffer and seconded by Michael Anderson.
During the same meeting the board approved a resolution to accept donations. The minutes list a $100 donation from Lillian Aird directed to the Wolf Pack Pantry and an anonymous milk donation valued at $49. The donations were accepted as recorded in the consent/resolution item.
