Jodi Elizondo, Director of District Improvement Initiatives & Grants, summarized a package of 12–13 grants supporting district programs and said the district aligns grant work to goals such as CTE and mental-health resources. Elizondo explained the district uses an "equity lens" and assessment teams to tailor supports for student focal groups.
Elizondo told the Board that "once we get this approved from the Board, we send that confirmation to the Oregon Department of Education and we can start spending the money." Director Matt Stringer moved to approve the integrated applications and narrative responses; the motion passed with recorded yes votes from Vice‑Chair Blackaby, Director Rodriguez and Director Stringer.
