Fairfax County schedules intergenerational self-defense workshop for families

At the end of the Cooking 101 session, Fairfax County Area Agency on Aging staff announced an intergenerational self-defense workshop set for Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., and encouraged attendees to complete a follow-up survey about future caregiving topics.
Tammy Cave, caregiver specialist with the Fairfax County Area Agency on Aging, closed the cooking session by thanking Jennifer Mertz and attendees and announcing a follow-up intergenerational self-defense workshop for families. She gave the date and time for the next event and asked attendees to complete a short survey to indicate which caregiving topics they would like in future programming.
"We invite you to our next intergenerational self defense for the family workshop. It's gonna be on Tuesday, August 11, from 10AM to 11AM," Tammy Cave said, giving participants the event date and time and reiterating the agency's outreach to caregivers and families.
