Student board member (S3) gave the student board report outlining recent and upcoming activities, including academic testing, performing-arts events and athletics. “party concert is next Tuesday on March 17, 7 to 8PM at the auditorium,” S3 said, and noted the OME district choir performance the following day. The report included a March 31 Spanish proficiency opportunity at Eastern Oregon University and that four girls and two boys qualified for middle school state wrestling.
Other students (S5) added that spring sports have started and noted district health programming (a guest speaker from Umatilla County Health on substance use) and the FFA state convention dates (March 19–22). The student reports were accepted as informational items with no board action taken in the transcript.
