The board unanimously adopted Strategic Plan 3.0, a multi-year roadmap the district developed beginning in December 2024. A presenter described the process as involving dozens of stakeholders — parents, students, teachers, staff, board members and business partners — and said the plan focuses on four priorities: student growth and readiness; recruitment and retention of staff; meaningful community engagement; and financial stewardship and facility planning.
The presenter said next steps include completing promise and direction components and drafting actions and key focus areas during an upcoming leadership retreat. Trustees praised the community engagement built into the plan and approved Strategic Plan 3.0 by a 7'0vote.
Officials said regular updates on plan implementation will be provided via the district website, social media and committee meetings.
