The board then approved seven certified hires: Deisy Haid (Child Development Specialist/Counselor, Gib Olinger Elementary), Angel Palacios (Child Development Specialist, Central Middle School), Lyndsey Doherty (Special Education Teacher, Central Middle School), Emma Leber (Elementary Teacher, Gib Olinger Elementary), Ashley Jones (Elementary Teacher, Gib Olinger Elementary), Gary Eastvedt (Math Teacher, McLoughlin High School), and Regan Braden (Elementary Teacher, Ferndale Elementary). Claudia Limon moved to approve the hires and Kelly Kessler seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Separately, the board approved an extra‑duty contract for Vincent Roff to serve as Assistant Baseball Coach (one‑year contract) at Mac‑Hi. Vince Ruzicka moved to approve the contract and Claudia Limon seconded; the board approved the motion unanimously.
No additional conditions or contingencies for the hires and contract were recorded in the minutes. The board's actions on personnel were recorded as unanimous votes.
